Is the press obsessed with corporate data breaches or are there simply so many instances that we all see the horror stories in every publication? It seems the bad guys are out to get us and every step we take to prevent that, shifts as they find new ways to access our precious information. We all know we need to secure and protect our systems and data and there are accepted best practices for both large and small organisations (the hacks are not picky and will crack any vulnerabilities).
