UK Economy in Growth

Thank goodness the Olympics and Para-Olympics are over as it was very distracting, albeit inspiring. I am also glad to reach September safely after a painful life lesson – things were going so well but never be complacent!

August, usually a quiet month, was my busiest so far this year and this is reflected in the country statistics. Job vacancies in the UK have topped one million and The Office for National Statistics figures show unemployment has fallen to 4.7% with GDP up to 4.8% growth. There is an optimism once more, fueled by the feel-good Olympics and the removal of restrictions.
