Is it the original article?
A few years ago I wrote a blog about Infor LN and posted it on LinkedIn. Some weeks later I stumbled across my article on someone else’s profile page and it wasn’t attributed to me! This person had literally copied it word for word as if it was their own work. Initially I was flattered but then actually a bit annoyed that someone could claim ownership for something that was not their original thought.
But this is exactly what Chat GPT does, not word-for-word but it amalgamates, aggregates and regurgitates content that is publicly available on the internet. The Algorithms create and plagiarise for better (or worse)? From a business perspective it is worth bearing in mind when using Chat GPT to create “original” content, it is not original. You still need to be a subject matter expert to evaluate whether or not, what is written is factually correct.
