The naming and shaming through data breaches has also climbed to new heights with the leak of confidential information from both the Pandora Papers and Twitch game-streaming. With Twitch the leak showed how much “streamers” were making and we all know how sensitive we can be if someone in the business knows our salary.
However, the nub of this is that managing security has become more complex than even the largest tech companies can fathom. Security should be managed just the same as any other business process – all aspects put on a workflow and all permutations and combinations scrutinised and plotted.
